Best of all, these printables scale to whatever you need. Go simple with crayons and regular paper, or level up with cardstock, laminating sheets, and a little imagination. Free Printable “You’ve Been Boo-ed” Kits
If your neighborhood hasn’t discovered You’ve Been Boo-ed yet, it’s time to start the tradition! Think of it as Halloween’s version of Secret Santa, a fun, pay-it-forward game that brings neighbors together with just the right dose of mystery.
Here’s how it works: one family kicks things off by secretly dropping a basket of Halloween goodies (think candy, toys, even a paperback or two) on a neighbor’s doorstep. Along with the treats, they include a “You’ve Been Boo-ed!” sign and a set of instructions. The recipient hangs the sign on their door to show they’ve been “booed,” then prepares a basket of their own to deliver to two more houses within a couple of days.
The best part? The sneaky delivery. A quick doorbell ring, a dash back to the car, and the thrill of not getting caught keeps kids and grown-ups laughing. Before long, the whole neighborhood is in on the fun, with front doors dotted with “We’ve Been Booed!” signs and families waiting to see where the next surprise will land.
To make it simple, I’ve created a ready-to-print kit with everything you need: a cheerful “We’ve Been Booed” sign and easy-to-follow instructions. Just print two copies, prep your baskets, and you’re officially in the game. It’s free, fun, and a fantastic way to add a little extra sparkle to your Halloween season.
Spooky Printable Halloween Greeting Cards
Forget shelling out $5–$7 for a store-bought card, especially when it’ll likely end up in the recycling bin by November 1st. Team EC has created four unique Halloween cards you can print at home for just pennies. Download, print, cut on the crop marks, fold on the dotted line, and you’re good to go.
These cards are perfect for slipping into a lunchbox, taping to a co-worker’s monitor, or adding to a neighbor’s You’ve Been Booed basket. And because they’re blank inside, you can keep it lighthearted with a quick “Happy Haunting!” or get personal with a handwritten note.
With four different designs to choose from, you can spread spooky cheer without spending a dime at Hallmark. Easy, affordable, and just a little bit mischievous, exactly what Halloween should be.
Halloween Bingo Cards for Parties and Family Fun
Looking for an activity that works just as well at a classroom party as it does around the kitchen table? Halloween Bingo is a classic… simple, engaging, and fun for all ages. Even the youngest players can join in, which makes it perfect for family game nights, school events, or neighborhood get-togethers. Bonus: it sneaks in a little skill-building like listening and matching without anyone noticing.
Team EC has created a set of 12 unique Bingo cards, calling cards, and easy instructions. You can play traditional one-line Bingo, go for blackout, try four corners, or mix it up with different patterns to keep things fresh. That flexibility means no two games feel the same, ideal if you’ve got kids with different attention spans or adults who like a little competition.
For durability, print the cards and calling pieces on 8.5 x 11″ cardstock and laminate them if you can. (Pro tip: many public libraries offer free or low-cost laminating, so you don’t need fancy equipment at home.) Store them in a zip-top bag, and you’ve got a reusable game you can pull out year after year.
Free Party Printables to Decorate Your Gathering
Want to make your Halloween (or any!) party look pulled-together without spending a small fortune? Team EC’s collection of free party printables has you covered. You’ll find everything from themed signs (welcome, bar, food table, restroom, coat closet—you name it) to table place cards, cupcake toppers, and even a printable charades game to keep guests laughing.
Here’s the fun part: these printables are simple but look surprisingly polished. Print them on cardstock for a professional touch or on regular printer paper if that’s what you’ve got handy. Prop signs on the snack table, frame one near the drinks, or tape them up for an instant backdrop. Bonus tip: slip a few into old picture frames you already own. Suddenly, it looks like you went full-on party stylist.
And for those cupcake toppers? They’re easy as can be. Just print, punch them out using a 2-inch circle punch, and sandwich a toothpick between two circles with a dab of hot glue. Pop them into cupcakes, brownies, or even a cheese cube tray if you’re feeling fancy.
Halloween Activity Pages for All Ages
Coloring isn’t just for kids anymore. It’s the perfect low-stress activity for anyone who wants a break from the chaos of October. Team EC has put together a collection of printable coloring pages, activity sheets, word searches, and more. Easy to download, quick to print, and fun for all ages.
These pages are perfect for keeping little hands busy while you finish setting up for trick-or-treaters or unwind with a cup of tea and your favorite colored pencils. (Adult coloring has made quite the comeback, and for good reason. It’s relaxing, creative, and screen-free.)
Once colored, these pages can double as instant Halloween décor. Tape them to the fridge, use them to dress up your entryway, or slip one into Grandma’s next card for a sweet surprise. Most work great with crayons, markers, or colored pencils, so grab whatever you’ve got on hand and start creating.
Ready, set… let the fun (and coloring!) begin.

my older son goes over the top decorating the house, yard and the parked cars with tombstones, coffins and ghouls. this year he’s planning on adding a few skeletons–one will be leaning against a shovel by a coffin, others will be pall-bearers and mourners getting out of the cars. the only inflatable i will allow [i really do hate them] is a large purple spider on our roof, but he won’t do that one because it scares his daughters. he dresses up to give out the candy, this year a vampire.
These were so cute to do on Halloween that we created some of our own for Christmas! We’re giving my mom a medical alert system as a gift and we’re not expecting it to go over well. Hopefully, these adorable drawings and coloring pages will mitigate a little tension. Thank you for the wonderful ideas!
I have seen where people “planted” their Halloween candy in the front yard by attaching the candy to wooden skewers. I think the “Frankentines” will be a perfect addition to our “candy garden”. We need to do something creative this Halloween!
Cute idea! Thanks for that tip, Birgit!
