    my son used to work in a bike shop and we learned if you are seriously into bikes, don’t go to a big box store like walmart. bike manufacturers produce bikes for them much faster, cutting corners. these bikes are usually not reparable, even if it’s a simple part. a bike shop gets a better product, no corners cut, and more importantly, safer and repairable.
