I’ve been using my Instant Pot for several years now, and honestly, I can’t imagine life without it. It has earned a permanent spot on my kitchen counter, a rare honor since I usually prefer to keep my counters clear and open.

Instant Pot Duo Plus 9-in-1 Electric 6-Quart Pressure Cooker

My Instant Pot, though trusty and well-loved, is now considered elderly, having been replaced by the latest and greatest model: the Instant Pot Duo Plus 9-in-1 Electric 6-Quart Pressure Cooker. It’s an absolute gem, and I’m struggling with that familiar tug-of-war between need and want.

While my older version replaces seven kitchen appliances, this baby takes that number to nine! Pressure Cooker, Slow Cooker, Rice Cooker, Yogurt Maker, Egg Cooker, Sauté, Steamer, Warmer, and Sterilizer. Wow!

Why You Should Cook Eggs in an Instant Pot

Lately, I’ve been on a serious egg kick. Sure, making eggs might seem simple—fry, scramble, poach, or boil, right? But who knew you could elevate all these methods and more with a pressure cooker?

Once you hard boil eggs in your Instant Pot, you’ll wonder why you ever did it any other way. Perfectly cooked every time, without the fuss of boiling water and the mess of peeling. Poaching eggs becomes a breeze too, with no more runny whites slipping into the water. The Instant Pot opens up a world of egg-cellent possibilities far beyond the basics. Here are some of my current favorite egg recipes that showcase just how versatile and convenient your Instant Pot can be!

Thanks so much for this post! I got an instant pot for Christmas after reading about it on your blog, but just haven’t gotten into using it yet. I’m going to try one of your egg casseroles each week for the next four weeks!
