    I have been using TELLO since 2018 and will never leave; they have the best plan prices. My plan has unlimited talk and text with 5 GB of data for $14/month. I never use all the 5 GB data but it’s there if I need it. They also sell new and used cellphones on their website with a changing inventory. I also have had a FREE Google Voice account since 2017 and it’s fantastic. TELLO uses the T-Mobile network which has been reliable since I signed up. Great customer service, and you can do almost everything online through your dashboard. I highly recommend TELLO to everyone.

    Great advice. I’ve always used unlocked phones and the cheapest carrier I can find. I currently am using Cricket, FIVE lines, unlimited data and text for $125/mo. Great deal for our family.

    I was in Costco yesterday and AT&T was there selling phones and plans. As I walked by, the man asked what phone company I was with. When I told him Mint Mobile, he jokingly said I can raise that bill of yours up to $33 dollars a month for you. We both laughed! I love paying only $15 per month!

    Our family just recently got back from traveling internationally. I was so disappointed to find out that mine was the only phone that was unlocked and therefore able to use an eSIM. Even my son who had a ‘free’ phone was still locked and under contract with AT&T! That was when I realized that we had to do something different. We will be looking into these options before we travel internationally again.

    Many of the phone manufacturers give you a hefty discount on their products.
    I purchased a new Samsung 2 years ago. Retail was around $1200. By the time of my discount and trade in. I was paying around $400 out if pocket for a brand new Samsung phone straight from Samsung unlocked.

    I’ve almost always used unlocked phones with a carrier of choice. I’ve found very good sellers on Ebay that offer guarantees and good return policies. You can find late model phones for more than half off. I went with Boost Mobile. I pay $10.34/month (including taxes) for unlimited calling and texting. I also have 2G of data, which I rarely go through. It suits my needs and keeps the cost down. At home, we have a Google Voice phone number (free.) You can buy a wifi phone and use that free number for a one-time fee of about $100 for the phone and handset(s). Before, we were paying almost $100 a month for landline service, and my cell phone bill was 3x the price for less service perks. It pays to shop around.
