Christmas Shopping in October? These Prime Day Gifts Make Sense
Christmas is coming. There, I said it. I know nobody wants to hear that in October, but your December self is going to be very glad we had this little talk. Prime Big Deal Days gives you a nice excuse to get ahead. I went back through our EC gift guides and pulled together gifts we’ve already recommended. If you find one at a price you like, you can cross a name off your list now and tuck that gift away until Christmas.

Think about it: no last-minute shipping. No crowded stores. No standing in an aisle on December 23 wondering what on earth Uncle Bob could possibly want.
One little warning from someone who’s learned this the hard way: keep a list. Write down what you bought, who it’s for and where you put it. Then label the hiding place.
Because buying a gift twice is wasteful. Finding the first one in March is worse.

The Best Gift Is the One Already Bought
Why wait until December to do something you can get off your plate today? If you find a gift on this list for someone you already need to shop for, and the price is right, buy it.
Then write down who it’s for and where you put it. Ask me how I know.
That’s it. You’re done.
One less person on your Christmas list. One less package to chase. One less thing competing for your attention when December gets crazy.
And come Christmas morning, you’ll be very glad October-you was thinking ahead. Now go enjoy that little win.
Question: Who’s the hardest person on your Christmas list to shop for this year? Tell me in the comments!
