Cinnamon Roll Waffle Sandwich Recipe

Cinnamon Roll Waffle Breakfast Sandwich
It's decadent and so yummy, wisdom dictates this might be a good once-a-year treat! Christmas morning sounds about right to me! This breakfast sandwich is more than just a recipe—it's an experience.

Ingredients
- cooking spray
- 1 tbsp unsalted butter, or as needed
- 5 eggs
- ¼ tspn ground black pepper, or to taste
- 2 tube Pillsbury Grand cinnamon rolls with icing Pillsbury Grand
- 5 slices sharp Cheddar cheese
- 5 slices country ham
- 1 tbsp orange zest
- ¼ tspn sea salt
Instructions
- Preheat waffle iron and spray with cooking spray
- Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Fry eggs to your desired doneness, 3 to 6 mins. Season with sea salt and pepper.Transfer to a plate
- Cook ham in teh sam skillet until golden brown, about 2 mins. per side
- Place 1 cinnamon roll in the waffle iron; cook until golden brown, e to 5 minutes. Repeat with remaining dough to create 10 cinnamon roll waffles.
- Place 1 slice of Cheddar cheese on five the cinnamon roll waffles. Add 1 fried egg and 1 slice of ham. Cover each sandwich with one of the five remaining cinnamon roll waffles.
- Combine the cream cheese icing from the tubes with orange zest and mix until combined. Drizzle on top of the sandwiches.
Notes
You can use lemon zest in place of the orange zest.
