There’s something comforting about Christmas movies—the kind you’ve watched so many times you’re sure you know every line… until trivia proves otherwise. This quiz is perfect for that quiet stretch of Christmas Eve when dinner’s done, the gifts are wrapped, and everyone’s looking for “just one more thing” to do together. Grab a pencil, trust your instincts, and play fair. The honor system applies, though a little good-natured arguing is not only allowed, it’s encouraged.

We did this as a family activity, and I think there were only two or three that weren’t guessed by one of us! Thank you for the fun, Mary!

The last question is incorrect. Aunt Bethany recites the pledge of allegiance when she’s asked to say grace. She sings the Star Spangled Banner at the end of the movie after the explosion.

One of my family’s favourite Christmas movies doesn’t show up on lists. The Bishop’s Wife is an amazingly charming and funny story. Loretta Young, David Niven and Cary Grant give a wonderful performance. This movie will put you in the true Christmas spirit!
