Ingredients

  • 1 orange sliced
  • 1 apple sliced
  • 3-4 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 tablespoon whole cloves
  • 1 tablespoon whole allspice
  • 1-2 sprigs fresh rosemary optional
  • 2-3 cups water

Instructions

  • Slice the orange and apple into rounds.
  • Place the orange, apple, cinnamon sticks, cloves, allspice, and rosemary (if using) into the slow cooker.
  • Pour enough water into the slow cooker to cover the ingredients by 2-3 inches.
  • Turn the slow cooker on "Low" and leave the lid off.
  • Let the mixture simmer throughout the day, keeping an eye on the water level. Add more water as needed to maintain the fragrance.
  • After use, store the mixture in the refrigerator overnight and reuse the next day by adding fresh water and turning the slow cooker back on.
