Servings: 10 ounces
Cost: ~$0.22 per batch
- 1 cup distilled or bottled water
- 3 teaspoons liquid fabric softener or hair conditioner
- 2 teaspoons rubbing alcohol
Combine all ingredients in a 16-oz. spray bottle.
Shake well to combine.
Lightly spray wrinkled areas of the garment. Aim for damp, not soaking wet.
Gently pull the fabric taut to help smooth out wrinkles.
Rehang and allow to air dry completely before wearing or storing.
Distilled or bottled water is preferred over tap water to prevent mineral buildup in the bottle over time.
Hair conditioner works just as well as fabric softener. Use whatever you have on hand.
The rubbing alcohol speeds up drying time and helps the softener penetrate fabric fibers more effectively. Don't skip it.
Always test on a small, hidden area first, especially with delicates or dry-clean-only fabrics.
Store at room temperature and shake before each use. Best used within 30 days.
