Instructions

  • Using a funnel, pour the solution into your empty Swiffer WetJet container or a spray bottle of your choice.

Notes

Helpful Tips

  • Measuring “Parts”: Use any measurement for “1 part.” For example, if using 1/4 cup as a base measurement, you’d mix 1/4 cup alcohol, 1 cup water, and 2-3 drops of Dawn. Adjust quantities as needed.
  • Why Alcohol? Rubbing alcohol is an effective, pH-neutral cleaner that disinfects and evaporates quickly, helping floors dry faster and stay streak-free. It’s ideal for keeping wood and laminate floors clean and protected.

How to Refill a Swiffer WetJet Bottle

  1. Heat a pot of water until boiling, then turn off the burner.
  2. Hold the empty Swiffer WetJet bottle upside down and submerge the cap in the hot water for up to 90 seconds.
  3. With a hot pad or cloth, grip the lid and twist—it should come off easily.
CAUTION: Don’t cut the locking nubs off the lid, as this may cause leaking!
