- ⅓ cup boiled linseed oil
- ⅓ cup turpentine gum spirits
- ⅓ cup white vinegar
Pour the boiled linseed oil, turpentine, and vinegar into a 12-ounce spray bottle or glass jar.
Secure the lid or sprayer top and shake thoroughly to blend.
Spray or pour a small amount onto a soft cloth and rub it into the wood in circular motions.
Using a clean, dry cloth, buff the wood until it shines.
Important Safety Notes
- Use only boiled linseed oil, which is pre-treated to dry faster. DO NOT attempt to boil raw linseed oil at home—it’s a fire hazard.
- Work in a well-ventilated area due to turpentine fumes.
