Being a savvy consumer means a lot of things. It can refer to a person who knows how to get the lowest price on whatever he or she is buying. It can also mean finding the best value—the highest quality product for the most reasonable price. Or, it can refer to someone who shops ethically, according to his or her values.

However you define “savvy consumer,” becoming one requires research and education about the products that you buy according to your individual priorities. When it comes to shopping for food, today’s savvy consumers know where their food comes from, and, if they do things right, they save money, too.

Growing our own food is certainly one way to go—and don’t we all wish we had an abundant garden at its peak right about now! Well hang on, because I have good news.

It is quite possible you can piggyback onto an abundant “garden,” right there in your local area, with an owner willing and anxious to share its bounty. Seriously! All the details in today’s post.

See you there! Love, xo m 🌽🍅🥒🍆🥔🥕 and 🍉🍎🍒🍓🥝🍇, too!
